This solitary copper-painted guardian spoke to me about the beauty of standing alone with dignity, its weathered form creating poetry against the brilliant blue sky. The way the golden light illuminated its textured bark while sapphire heavens stretched infinitely above reminded me that some beauty emerges from the courage to remain rooted while reaching toward the vast unknown. This became my meditation on how solitude can be not loneliness but sacred communion with the infinite.
